Emergency kits

The bag you can grab when you have to leave.

Pack your kit on a quiet weekend, when you have time to think, and keep it where everyone in the house can find it. Our 72-hour kit guide covers what goes in and how much water to plan for, using state agency lists as the base.

The official checklists are free. Get Ready Queensland has a full kit list, and the NSW SES has planning checklists. Check medicines, batteries and use-by dates a couple of times a year.
